Sol Defense Command: Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 1, 2026
Sol Defense Command ("the game") is published by Tectus Protection, Inc. ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the game does with information about you.
What the game stores
Your progress, settings, pilots, bases, fleet, medals, daily missions and high scores are saved only on your device. There are no accounts, and we do not upload this data to our servers (see iCloud backup below).
iCloud backup and Game Center
If you turn on iCloud backup in Settings, a copy of your saved game is stored in your own iCloud account (Apple's iCloud key-value storage), so a new iPhone on the same Apple ID can restore it. We cannot see or access it. You can turn it off at any time.
If you are signed in to Game Center, your scores and achievements are sent to Apple's Game Center under your Game Center profile. Apple's privacy policy: apple.com/legal/privacy
Advertising
The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect your device's advertising identifier (only if you allow tracking), your IP address, and information about how you interact with ads.
- On iPhone, you choose whether to allow tracking when the game asks. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", you still see ads, but they are not personalized.
- Where required (such as the EU and UK), a consent form is shown before any ads load.
- Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
Analytics
To find out where players get stuck and what to improve, the game sends anonymous usage events (for example "mission won", "card pack opened", or an error message if something breaks) to TelemetryDeck. The game uses a random ID created on your phone and scrambled (hashed) before it is sent, so it is not linked to your name, email, Apple ID or advertising identifier, and it is not used for advertising or tracking. TelemetryDeck's privacy policy: telemetrydeck.com/privacy
Purchases
The optional Remove Ads purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to confirm the purchase. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and your purchase receipt, never your payment details. RevenueCat's privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy
Notifications
If you allow them, the game schedules notifications on your device (for example, when a base is under attack). They are created on your device and are not sent through our servers.
Game updates
The game may download signed content updates from our servers. These requests do not include personal information.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes everything the game saved on your device. You can reset your advertising identifier in your device's privacy settings.
